It would break the game and you know it.
Agree or Disagree??
I mean come on a person with ten gjallahorns would trade it for anything and than the game wouldnt be fun because it would take the fun out of grinding and alot of other stuff.
Comment what you think and keep the thread high
EDIT: WoW 250+ replies. Keep it going guys

This game doesn't have enough stuff to trade everybody has everything maybe except several exotics
-
I would only agree to a trading system if the amount of gear and weapons expanded greatly. Not only that the odds of owning all of it must be very slim to the point were if you acquire one exotic weapon let's say thorn for example the odds of getting a last word just drop to nearly impossible. If not then everyone will just get duplicates then trade them until they collect all.
-
Never.

Edited by joey big guns: 4/28/2015 5:10:57 AMI'd trade w/ my roommate. Dudes been running destiny w/ me since the beta, had his first exotic drop Wednesday from nightfall. He got hard light. Bahahaha.(bounty exotics don't count though, he's only gotten 2. Haha) everyone crying about it breaking the game is stupid. It's not like ppl get the gear then quit playing. What ppl are really afraid of and are really crying about are being special pucking snowflakes! "Oh, but if they have trading everyone will get all the weapons and I won't be special anymore cause I played that one mission that one time and I got a "LUCKY RANDOM drop!" Ppl against trading are probably the same tools that cry no to matchmaking in raids and nightfalls. Don't be stingy puckers! Trading should be for in game currency(glimmer, motes...etc.)
-
Everyone wants the trading system but realistically it won't happen because the game will than die faster if everyone has everything they want
-
2 RepliesI don't want a trade system. It makes getting exotics less fulfilling. Like getting hand-me-down clothes from your big brother. But if they were to it, they should have the progression reset, and not let them be fully upgraded upon recieving it.
-
Depends on how it's added if it was trading loot between fire team members after a kill I do t think it would
-
As much as it would be good on some levels, i do agree. With the way the reward system is set up, it just wouldn't be a good thing. Especially when some people can get dozens of a certain exotic weapon, and others can't even get one. The trading market would be flooded with certain items, and people would literally be paying for the chance to assemble all of the best weapons and gear. If the rewards were eventually balanced, they could create a balanced trading system to go along with it.
-
Simply put there are not enough items in the game to support trading.

9 RepliesStupid desticles
-
Grinding is never fun.
-
7 Replies33% of people haven't got the gallyhorn
-
I think there should be some clan bank or trade systems. Not for guns, but at least materials and maybe glimmer.
-
I'm sure Bungie will put a creative twist on trading if they implement it into the game, paying respects to longevity Maybe you can only trade once a week, or maybe exotics can only be traded once a month or something crazy
-
Trading items like plasteel plating for hadronic essence or shard or energies. It would help those people who have multiple characters, who have say a 100 of something they dont use anymore and need another charcter item. But weapons could be limited to pve after a trade. It is locked out of pvp. Exotic Weapons resets back to 300 max power. Making you have to use xur for upgrades, would keep it interesting.
-
Your implying that the game ends after you receive gjallahorn, which is just silly. Your being silly!

1 ReplyEdited by Chellen137: 4/24/2015 5:26:15 AMOnly way this would work is for end of Strike/raid trading between your active team... Otherwise it would completely ruin the value of everything
-
Edited by johnston1101: 4/26/2015 9:49:21 PMTrading would break the game. It will lead to what DCUO is. People will charge Cards for everything (Playstation Network Cards in my case) You also cannot leave out the potential to be scammed. Noobs will Flood the Raids/Nightfalls with gear they got from their friends and anchor the team. Etc Etc Before it is said, No I'm not butt hurt because I don't have a Ghorn.
-
If they had it so you could trade items that dropped within a raid to the others who were there with you (15 minutes after you completed it or something along the lines) I don't think that would break anything.
-
It would take away the fun of playing the game. Like in the planet destiny podcast with deej they talked about just giving max gear to your friends so they can play but that takes all the fun out of playing the game how it is meant to be played
-
2 RepliesEdited by Enal81: 4/26/2015 9:46:21 PMI think they should add it for clans. Granted some would join a clan to trade then leave the clan. That's why you make it so once you join a clan you are stuck for 30 days in that clan. It allows clan members to help one another out and clans would think twice about letting some random guy in just for free gear.
-
No it would not.
-
max thunderlord for either 1000 hadronic or saphire wire
-
I think if there was like 100 more guns this could work.
-
1 ReplySelling maxed out Gjallahorn for $200.
-
4 RepliesIt would absolutely ruin the endgame. Weapons no longer have meaning. People with the best guns start selling them on eBay and Craigslist. People get scammed. Some kid will figure out a way to duplicate items. Now everyone has everything ever and then what's the point? Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls has been totally destroyed by trading and duplicating. Borderless 2 was decimated by trading and duplicating. Please dear god no trading.
