RAID~ If there wasn't supposed to be a raid, packaged within the original game, then why the apology? If there wasn't supposed to be raid in the House of Wolves, then why is everyone and every gamer publication writing articles or formulating opinions on this apparent problem? If there wasn't supposed to be a raid, then why do we have data mined images stating that there was a raid to begin with? I don't care whether or not they are unofficial, the images were obviously published by Bungie. Images of the original season pass advertisements have surfaced, citing the same exact image. Refuting this is useless- e.g.~even though I stole something from your pocket doesn't change the fact that it was originally in your pocket, morality or none.
As a friend of mine put, it's like going to your daughter's birthday party and apologizing for the absence of a pony. Meaning the intention was there, but there's no pony.
the Trials of Osiris ~It's a well known fact that the Trials of a Osiris was part of the original vanilla game. Some war veteran received the only Fate of all Fools scout rifle back in September. Then why is this content being resold? Is the raid they were supposed to make going to be resold as content later on down the road?
Horde Mode~ isn't a raid. It's a cherry on top offering since the House of Wolves took so long to develop, compared to the Dark Below. By no means should players be charged for this instance. No substantial content has been given to the fans, there are always fees involved. What about the hardcore audience that has played since the beta, maybe a little condolences for selling them a supposed open world game, full of holes?

The arena isn't replacing a raid its a different approach at end game content for casuals and hardcore players like me
-
The Horde Mode feature was supposed to be in lieu with the raid, as an added bonus. It doesn't defeat the fact that there is no raid.

What the -blam!- have you even seen what bungee try to do
-
Yeah, helmets, bounty sound effects, and basic fixes to an inherently broken game. Those changes aren't merits for any additional revenue on my part, it's simple upkeep.
-
If that's all you see then go play call of duty

I'm sorry, I don't even own a COD title, but it's a nice little ninja smoke bomb comment, you had there, that can be applied to any broad variety of post; especially when the shit hits the fan, and you don't have a viable, informative, or interesting rebuttal. If it wasn't so predictable and predominantly clique, then I might of used it in my own linguistic arsenal. How about I just leave you alone, I didn't want you to feel threatened or overwhelmed, where you would have to employ your reactionary escape artist tactics.

Edited by ParasiticFilth: 4/16/2015 2:13:59 PMWell, the whole point behind user feedback or customer is to ensure that these continually get better. By any corporate model, developers strive to achieve the most profits with the least amount of effort. Entire studies have been orchestrated just to grasp how far a corporation can degrade a customer product down to it's minimalist form, while still maintaining a dramatic profit margin. Nike shoes is a excellent example. Through hype alone, they can sell shoes that cost less than $3 dollars to manufacture, for as much as $300 dollars. Activision and Bungie are no different. They adhere to the whims of their shareholders. The shareholders don't care whether or not the House of Wolves has a raid, they only care about one thing-$$$. As gamers, on the shit end of the stick, we need to demand more for our dollars. Games older than 15 years had more content included. DLCs from other developers have more content as well. In a free market system, we are the ones that set the bar; while they continually try to lower it. I like Destiny too. I wouldn't bother bitching about a crap game. I laugh at those games. I bitch simply because Destiny deserves to be more than what it is, both for you and me. I grew up playing games as a beloved pastime, I want the next generation of gamers to experience and cherish great games in the future.

I understand the purpose behind their plausible deniability, lawyer disclaimers- the point I'm making is that everyone excepted a raid, even the major game publications, and Bungie failed to deliver.
-
Okay but that's no reason to whine like children until you've heard the details for Prison of Elders.

I paid $35 for a season pass. I paid $50 for call of duty. I received 9 jacked up maps and like 4 weapons or so. I feel like I got more with Destiny. I have certainly played it more. I am pissed there isn't a raid but I'll make the most of it. Have to wait and see if this works out or I switch back call of duty for black ops 3. Time will tell.
