I disagree about one set of raid armor being enough. When I use my sunsinger on Crota is use Sunbreakers during the Abyss and Bridge for the added duration of solar grenades. I switch to my Heart of the Praxis Fire and for the deathsinger so I can bombard her with fusion grenades the I put on Apotheosis Veil for health regen during Crota. If I didn't have multiples of my raid armor pieces changing my exotics would throw my stats out of wack.

It takes a while, but eventually you'll get a full set that provides a reasonable stat spread for any exotic equipped. The key is making sure that 1 out of the 3 stats is always near/at max regardless of exotic used. For warlocks, I've always prioritized Discipline. For Titans, I prioritize Strength. For Hunters, I prioritize Intellect. Any secondary stat was icing on the cake for me - of course, this may not work for everyone. RNG can be a fickle thing when farming gear...

The stat I prioritize changes as well. I prefer discipline for the Abyss because solar grenades are good for crowd control around the lamps. The same for the plate/annihilator totems if I'm doing the bridge legit (never seems to happen anymore lol). If I prefer Intellect for Crota to build my super up quicker in the crystal room to kill the knights. I sometimes I want different perks as well and I like to have the ability to have different builds. To each their own I guess. Lol I didn't even need the extra armor vault space even with all my warlock armor :)

Titans prioritize strength. You bloody idiot what are you going to hit with that 1 inch range melee?!
-
I rush everything - Titans are close-quarters based, so punching and shotgunning are my primary means of defense. A shoulder charge never hurts, either! :)

A shoulder charge does not require strength. Just the melee ability which has some pretty lacklustre talents. Now my crota hunter set-up has decent strength for the blink invis

I never stated that shoulder charge required strength. In fact, what I meant was that I use it while the melee is on cooldown. There is nothing lackluster about Disintegrate. Giving an over-shield that can, when paired with the right perks and exotic armor, essentially last until the next recharge is insane. Add in the bubble and you're an invincible defensive pivot for your fireteam. As for my preferences, I run: Warlock: Discipline/Intellect - Grenades and Supers are the focus of the class, with every exotic catering to this focus, especially Heart of the Praxic Fire and Obsidian Mind. Titan: Strength/Intellect - Bubble and Disintegrate for "Juggernaut" Defender, or Storm Grip Amplify with Fist of Havoc (Hulk Smash Build) Hunter: Intellect/Strength - Focuses on abusing quick-charging supers (gun or blade), with an insane 4-second cooldown, Fast Twitch Hungering Blade C-C-Combo-breaker
