Yeah but what about the chances of getting an exotic drop? I mean you have a 5,8 chance to get gjally ( assuming all the exotics weapons have the same drop rate and excuse me here but after 7 months screwing with RNG its pretty obvious that drops are weightened ) IF you have an exotic weapon drop .. Exotic drop chances are low.. Plus on nightfall exotic armors are included.. So what i would really like to know is what is the actual chance of getting the specific weapon.. That would be helpful ..
Note1: i have gjallarhorn
Note2: after 7 months in this game i dont believe that this is how the system works.. I cannot put it in math but i am pretty sure Bungie makes weapons drop more or less when they want to.. Thats why DLC exotics were so common when TDB released , thats why only 50 per cent of the player base have Gjallarhorn etc ...

Yes, I believe they control the rate of exotic drops. So the above statistics mean little when they turn the nozzle off. Afte the 1.1.1 update, I was getting 5-6 exotics a week. Saw 3 exotics from legendary engrams, and several legendaries from rare. I had hopes that would be the norm. Alas, not so. Exotics have fallen off sharply the last month, and the engrams have returned to their regularly scheduled junk. It's timings like that which causes the most frustration. If they would quit playing God with the game and allow true RNG to play out, the satisfaction would be realized.

Yeah i noticed that too on me and my clanmates.. After this update the drops were crazy .. The last 2-3 weeks i cant get a decent drop and im doing 3x Crota , 3x Vog raids , 3x nightfalls, gorgons, deathsingers and A LOT of Roc strikes .. I cant even score the super good advice bounty and i am doing A LOT of bounties each day.. Another thing i noticed is that latelly people who spend less time in game get better drops.. Its like Bungie is trying to lure them back

Correlation doesn't imply causality, but the increasing observations reported exactly as you mention lend to an increasingly frustrating experience. Still no ghallarhorn for me. My first kid finally gets to 30 and starts doing the heavy raids, nightfall. First two exotics were ghallarhorn. First TWO. My second kid enters the fray. His first exotic was ghallarhorn. My first kid's best friend wants to be led through a nightfall. I take him through his first nightfall. His first exotic? ghallarhorn. This is all in a two week time period. It's at this point where I become really tempted to call BULL on the whole thing. If their first 3 exotics combined were ghallarhorn, it would stand to reason it should be more common to seasoned veterans. Granted, it's only 3 data points, but seriously??
