This is total bs trumped up for slander
Note how the only details given are ones we new of before the post was made.
If you think this game is a flop just bare in mind this is only the start.
If you want to see what I mean get a standard Xbox and a copy of halo 1 the original to play then move up to halo three or reach to see the changes that took place.
Grate things have humble beginnings.

Test the water? What other company has released a game with this shitty of a story? I love this game and have played over 700 hours and will continue to play out for a long time but how can you defend the story? It's a complete shit. Look at bioshock a crazy story that no one knew if it would do well or not and that story was amazing. It's one of the best stories I've ever heard.

You have to see the bigger picture here I know I'm going on faith alone but we have killed a time lord and a God both serving the darkness. Sounds to me like a set up for bigger things to come kind of a butterfly effect. But that's just my opinion we want know till commit hits.

I do see the bigger picture. I know they want this IP to be around for 10 years but I don't see how that justifies the lack of a story now. Just because we killed those kind of things doesn't mean it's connected to something else. Yes it could be but they have not given us anything to think that is the case. "I don't have time to explain why I don't have time to explain." Whoever wrote that and let it into the final game should be fired. That is such a slap in the face to gamers. Who thought that was a good idea? And the ending? Just sequel bait. There are many other games out there that wanted to be a franchise and actually gave us an awesome story.

Your replies do not make sense. 1) 'testing the water' is what QA is for. BADUMB. 2) the only thing that Bungie/Activision 'set up' by butchering Destiny and giving us this shallow story to play, thereby killing these lords of the Dark (which, if no one else has figured out yet, NOT ONE OTHER GUARDIAN WAS ABLE TO DO WITH ALL OF THE SAME GEAR AND WEAPONS AND ABILITIES THAT WE HAVE, and we just walk right in and set things straight, gtfo) is Destiny 2. BADUMB. 3) Bungie's own employees have walked and admitted to how broke they think Destiny is, much less the hundreds of people like you and me, that have played the game for hundreds upon hundreds of hours, to the tune of a handful of strikes, two raids, and recycled missions. For what!? Destiny was gutted, anyone can see this without anyone else having to point fingers. No clear story. Recycled missions. Horrible voiceovers/commentary by NPCs... need I continue. The real problem is that not enough people with the same thoughts will speak up. Or they have other things to do. BADUMB. No more post for you. By the way ask yourself this which game do you think would have made more money the one you have or this dream game that we only know of by anonymous post and threads that seems to give everyone exactly what they want? No need clearly you are a child and a fool. You don't agree so you must attack. You don't like something so it's condemned no matter what. And lastly anything you read on the internet is true if it fits into you first impression of said thing. You need to grow up and relax some.
