Just picked up An Another NITC with both explosive rounds and firefly. Pretty keen to level this up as soon as I can. What kind of damage does it do with both of these? And will they both activate at the same time (will you get an explosion twice as big with precision kills)?
Anyone got a scout rifle(or any gun) with both of these active???

I didn't think it made bigger explosions on mine. I've got the crusader I scout rifle with both and I loved it. Still have it somewhere maybe on my hunter. It just is a 300 dmg. Gun and because I spend all my time re leveling my exotics I've all but abandoned it.

2 RepliesI use fatebringer, and people kept saying how er messes with firefly. They were right. You're better off with stability.

Cheers lads! Oh well should be a fun gun with either switched on anyway

In theory, having both active at the same time would be really awesome. However, having both active makes it difficult for Firefly to kick off. You're better off with just rolling Firefly without the exploding rounds. I have pretty much the same gun you do, and the Firefly perk is great. But you rarely get any benefit for having exploding rounds on top of it.

Edited by half an idea: 4/9/2015 8:25:08 AMFatebringer No stacking or doubling up in destiny I'm afraid, if you have extended mag on extra ammo will not stack for instance. Explosive rounds "spreads" the damage of a shot over a 2yd area. Firefly explodes a target on critical hit death, extra Dmg is caused over a 5yd area.

I also just got a scout rifle with both of these and was eager to level it up to find out. If both don't stack well though you would probably want to switch out the explosive rounds and go with something else
