Most of these posts are complete BS. Many posts are blatant lies such as: I lost my ghorn, last word, or red death when they have 0 kills with the weapons and only have those cards from the codes. Other posts can be solved by just checking Google/youtube, there is no need to post on a forum for things like: how do you get exotic gear? How do I level up my weapon, or simple things a toddler can figure out. Another portion of the #Help section is people who can't tell the difference between #Recruitment and #Help. I would help people who actually need help and have honest questions about things but I rarely ever see these types of posts. Bump this thread of you want to clean up the #Help section of the forums so we can actually help people.

1 ReplyEdited by Lime Lyfe: 4/9/2015 2:05:49 AMThe whole idea behind #Help is to do just that, help. Anyone should be able to come here with any question and not feel intimidated or embarrassed about asking it. Destiny caters to a very broad demographic, and you will see many different types of gamers, both young and old, casual and competitive. This brings with it varying levels of experience. One persons trivial question, is another persons genuine concern. Any person asking a question, small or big, complicated or simple, should be treated with the respect they deserve. This even applies to people with the potential loss of investment gear, because we cannot begin to understand all personal circumstances. All the relevant information and tools you need are in the Help Articles and you can cite them at any time. In regards to #Help as a whole, we have it pretty good here. We get stuff done, and there are a lot of familiar faces. Just remember that answering what seems like a trivial question to you, can really help someone out in the long run.

Edited by Mr Mulberry: 4/9/2015 1:40:19 AMSome people come here expecting to be handed free gear and most people have actually been a victim of items disappearing. It's best to just give them the correct information and leave it at that. If they genuinely need the help, I'll be more than glad to give it, besides if anyone else happens to stumble across the information and find it helpful, it's not in vain. The only stupid questions in the #Help section are the ones that aren't asked. All questions are welcome despite how simple the answer may be. Being friendly is key thus to encourage people to come back if they have anymore questions. That's what the #Help section is here for.

Unfortunately everyone will come across distrustful, lying people one day. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about this. But we have gave you many tools such as Mute and Report to help make b.bet a better place for you and other good natured users. Take nothing to heart, Guardian. Also please catch your tongue. Refrain from cussing if you can. ~Veration

2 RepliesBut that would get rid of at least two thirds of all posts. What would we do?

But I like #Help the way it is now... ridiculous and beautiful at the same time its really quite an interesting place

Edited by Angelina Sov: 4/9/2015 1:40:40 AMWell..a lot of people ask questions and because everyone is different, some people handle questions in different ways than others. You're right. Some can search for answers to their questions on the Internet or just spontaneously figure it out on their own, but at the same time, they call also refer to #Help on the forums. There's nothing wrong with that. A lot of people have similar questions, too. But there's nothing wrong with that, either! :)

31 RepliesBut then we would have no jobs to do. And don't even get me started on the mentors... This is their job.

Just a pointless bump from the OP, disregard this.
