It's good to read something positive about Monte Carlo. I got it yesterday in Crota NM and I wasn't sure if it was any good. Someone in another thread said the gun was ok but not what it used to be and the v2 review that was on Planet Destiny a couple of months ago gave it low to mid 8s for both PvE and PvP. I look forward to trying it out once I've upgraded my backlog of exotics.

  • I suppose it depends on how you like auto rifles. If you love them (and I do, I've been waiting for an exotic auto to come along for months now), then you should REALLY love Monte Carlo. If you're indifferent to them, then your feeling will probably be "meh". The perk is not horribly horribly exciting unless you can work out how to incorporate more melee into your style; I'm still working on that. (Part of the problem is Titan melee having the shortest range in the game.) But for streaming rounds into heads at close-to-medium range, you can't beat it.
