Did anyone else notice the marks on both Locke's and Chief's armor in the live action trailers? It looked like a mark the flood leave.
If a gravemind was messing with their realities, it could also explain the dual perspective.
If the gravemind targeted both Locke and Chief, it would create an alliance between them, similar to the one in halo 2 between Chief and the Arbiter. It would make sense that 343 is trying to do what bungie did so well.
Well, that's it really. Any comments? Agreement? Disagreement? I wanna hear what you guys think.

I am pretty sure Halo 5 will tell the story of Chief's journey and locke's search in their each respective perceptions - maybe we'll even get to see a big-fish story. Though I think there's more to Chief's journey than just Cortana; the Librarian's legacy - there's more to the Chief's inscription than just becoming immune to the composer... And the Didact is still spooking around somewhere too. No, I think a gravemind isn't going to be a prominent figure in Halo 5 but I am confidently speculating that one is going to be in 6. or should I say 'The One'? The Timeless One; the Primordial?
