No Land Beyond 100% Damage Buff

Honestly, hardly anyone uses this gun. Yes it's exotic in a sense that it's a WWII bolt-action sniper rifle, but not much else. No elemental damage, just kinetic. Similar base stats, if not the same, as the Ice Breaker. I suggest a 100% buff in PvE in damage or impact, like what they did with shotguns recently, but only to this exotic weapon, all other sniper rifles are left as is. Enough to one shot headshot any non-shielded major and 2-3 headshots on a shielded nightfall major (maybe 4 on a minotaur). As for PvP, I never actually used this weapon much, but I suggest remove the red glare it gives when aiming down its sights (if it doesn't already) since it doesn't have a scope, just plain old iron sights. The No Land Beyond is modeled after an old WWII weapon. In those days you hid from plain sight and safely took down your targets or, when under fire, hid behind cover and snipe back. This isn't Call of Duty where you run around and quick scope (although it is possible, even with this gun). I'm not encouraging campers here, but removing the glare would allow hunters to simply crouch down, turn invisible, and take a headshot, or for people utilizing the cover of a titan bubble to strafe back and forth (if hiding behind a bubble isn't annoying enough as it is). Other than this, I have no other suggestions on how to improve this weapon for PvP use.

  • In pvp, the weapon would one shot everything if it got a x2 dammage buff

      Even if this gun only got a damage increase to put it on par with other sniper rifles it would be a massive improvement. I basically came when i found it, it looks amazing and i love the idea of a scopeless bolt action. Was suprised with it's 12 round capacity but that actually made me more excited as i figured it would do massive damage, nope. What the -blam!- bungie. I almost cried. What even is the point of this gun in pve? Why doesnt it do more damage? Why hasnt ot been fixed by now? I just dont understand. It needs to do way more damage, it could even do the same damage if the Master perk actually worked and gave it a massive critical multiplier.. Imo this weapon needs: 0.5s reduced chamber time, damage on par with a leg sniper, at least 18 round ammo capacity, at least the same crit multiplier as other snipers, and a slightly slimmed down sight - that thing is way too chunky. None of the buffs i just mentioned would even affect pvp that much, especially damage as its a 1 hit headshot anyway. i just cant get my head around why bungie made it so underpowered in pce. And thats for any gun let alone an exotic. I might aswell be running around with a green sniper. In fact id probably get better dps. Also as a side note you seen to have to aim slightly above a players' head in pvp to get a headshot.. This gun could be so much more. As it is i couldnt continue playing destiny last night because i was so frustrated. I really really really want to use this gun. I love the idea of it and how it looks but its completely useless in pve. Please please please fix it bungie. Even just the damage or crit, at least it would be somewhat useable. Apologies for the wall of text but you dont know how much i need this gun haha

      • For NLB they need to change the magazine size to 1 and eliminate the between shot animation; leaving only 1 reload animation. That could suck because that reload would then be interrupted by movement so perhaps have the magazine size at 50 and 0 in reserve. Either way - double animations suck.

        • I use it for my headshots in pvp unless we on a good sniper map. I would suggest they up the impact and fix flared magwell to actually speed the reload up. Also make it so the precision kill makes it so next bullet is a 1 shot kill

          Mulligan -> Third Eye/Unflinching/The Master (because your paid DLC exotic weapon is worth it!) Remove red glare. Triple ammo capacity. FIXED.

          • Give it a higher ammo capacity and a new perk that makes the gun ready to fire instantly after a kill. That way it's not overpowered and gives u a fight chance against two people. Also do something about that confusing iron.

          • When i got the No Land Beyond exotic weapon i first was happy because i got another exotic.....then i actually tried the weapon 100% needs a everythinng change execept the look i mean its a musket......evan though musket would be better......
