Gentlemen Jack. Trying it for the first time, it's practically a beginner whiskey. I like it but not gonna get it again like a little kick in my whiskey.
-
My dad introduced me to gentleman jack. I didn't know what I was missing.
-
It's not that great. Just smooth compared to traditional Jack Daniels.
-
I love it. Clear coat usually... But then again I don't touch anything but whiskey
-
Aye, laddy. Touch nothing but whiskey.
-
How do you drink it?
-
I drink it neat. I prefer it that way.
-
Room temp is best. Adding a small amount of spring water or bottled water will bloom the flavor. You will taste the whiskey better.
-
Will it? I knew Distilling the whiskey with water was an option but didn't know it brought out the flavor. I will try it.
-
Unless the whiskey is "barrel strength" the distillery has added water.
-
Neat is the only way to drink whiskey. Maybe a few drops of spring water.
-
How do you preferably drink yours and what do you drink?
-
I usually drink it neat. If I am mixing drinks it is water and a little fresh lime. I enjoy the odd Manhattan too. I like Wild Turkey Rare Breed, Dead Guy Whiskey from Rogue Brewery and my go to is Lot 40 single batch copper pot.
-
Ahh, definitely will look into those, I've been meaning to explore my whiskey choices. Hence the whole first time gentlemen Jack.
