Is kindom hearts good?
Was just wondering if kingdom hearts is any good saw micky mouse on the cover and thought it might be for 12 year olds but read some reviews that said it was a good game but they could be made by over excited 8 year olds any thoughts?

hyped for kh3, but hated the way Square Enix was jerking us around by presenting stuff we could care less about before the reveal trailer for the game at E3

1 ReplyIt looks childish because of Disney, but it is one of the best single player games I've ever played...I like it more than the legend of Zelda, which says a lot!

2 RepliesThink the entire Disney universe along with main characters from the entire Final Fantasy franchise (up til the Kingdom Hearts game in question was made) along with the games own original characters while the plot line is something from a well developed anime. Don't even get me started on the music and boss fights... [b]F[/b][b]UCK[/b] that water guy from the Organization though. Definitely in my list of top five games of all time are Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2.

Square Enix's biggest risk and it ended up being a truly beloved franchise. Don't judge a game by it's cover, specially now when the so called triple A mature titles have been shitfests of problems. Kingdom hearts is great, the story is confusing as -blam!- but the Combat, specially in KH 2 when the forms are available, the unique story and character development are beautiful (The mixture of Disney classic characters in a Final Fantasy world mixes well).

1 ReplyGood? It's one of the best. Been playing since KH1 and I'm buying a ps4 purely for KH3. Since it's Disney, the story is a little sappy; "Friendship is the greatest power!" but still one of the best and most involved stories in a game to date. However sappy the story might be, when combined with the awesome gameplay mechanics and tons of Final Fantasy characters, it's really a great game. Mickey is pretty much the Yoda of the KH world. He may be a children's character, but he's a total badass in game. I would suggest starting on KH1, but the gameplay mechanics are a tad clunky, so I would go with the KH2 Remastered. It's about $30 and you get two games and all the cutscenes from another. If you do decide to make this better life choice and purchase it, start with Birth by Sleep. 3 characters, each with their own story, and it'll help you to understand KH2.

Fvck it, go search up "sora vs terra armor" Or even "Sora vs sephiroth" for kingdom hearts 2.... you will see how the game actually gets. When u get the abilities and powers. Yeah square enix mixed in final fantasy with disney's characters but thats just the begining apearance of the game. Fvck, i didnt remember goofy and donald were from disney when i was playing mid game, i just saw them as badass group members that ocassionally messed around for comedic effect. The gameplay and story is where the fun is at. Tho the story can be a lil... over tangled... its still really good. Edit: dont judge a game by its box cover... art... u know what i mean.

2 and birth by sleep are really good. So happy that the final mix games made it to the states, though I hope they come to Xbox One or PC.

Really good, fun, fast paced real time FF combat but you have disney characters in your party all the worlds you goto are disney. There are FF characters sprinkled in here and there but its mostly disney I dont know much of the story because i've only played like 30 mins of the first one and i beat uhhh. Whatever game was on the Nintendo DS. The card one

A lot of people think its for children because of the Disney, but it actually has a really large fanbase, and a lot of adults play the games. It has a really good combat system, and the story and characters are very good, although sometimes confusing. So yes. The games are really good.

1 ReplyI recommend it as well. KH2 has maybe the best combat system in the series. Lots of cool cameos throughout. I'm still waiting on part 3 to get a release date. Been in development for quite a few years now.
