What I'm proposing is that the high rate of fire low impact auto rifles have a impact buff from 2 impact to 4 impact.
nechrochasm is a great example when you are using aggressive ballistics. The impact is raised to 5 while the fire rate is 100. stability might suffer but then its great.
nechrochasm might be my favorite gun of all time but its mag size is way too low and the auto rifles right now are the pulse rifles before patch.
The buff will take their impact and start it at 3 and max it at 4. no need for buffing Damage like they did with pulse rifles just an impact buff.
Any ideas on how to buff low impact autos without putting other weapons in the dust?

1 ReplyThey need to bring the old damage model back but nerf all the ranges of all the different auto impacts. The highest firerate should be like a pdw in real life where it's practically shotgun range or it loses effectiveness. Then just go from there and have them do less damage and accuracy out from their intended ranges. That way they can have a competitive kill time but still be in their place.

Buff all ars?? Yes

They should buff auto rifles to where they used to be, then buff the impact on max fire rate auto rifles.

Stability buff. Because that's the current disconnect. Bungie is reluctant to buff their damage because they already (in theory) have some of the lowest TTKs in the game. The problem is that the recoil makes it impossible for anyone to land shots with enough accuracy to take use that theoretical advantage.
