2 RepliesI'm a boomer. The greatest generation raised my generation, which they labelled as pot smoking hippies. Each generation blames the next for not carrying on its values and morals. The generation you raise will push social standards beyond what you will accept. And you may be tempted to label them some creative pejorative. Sometimes change is truly socially evolutional progress. Sometimes the change is social devolutionary decay. I just wish that each generation could correctly identify both and evaluate new social standards before so readily accepting them. For example, it's good that this generation values people's right to be who they are. That's social progress. However, they are quick to marginalize opposing opinions. That is a sign of devolutionary social decay.

4 RepliesFirstly, "Generation Y"? Secondly, our generation isn't much different from the others because the average person is always very easily influenced by the common opinion of those around them, both now and then. People tend to keep to thinking inside the box, rather than truly forming their own personal views. This will never change. What makes our generation so vastly different, more than anything else, is common and easy access to the Internet.

Blah blah blah millenials are lazy weed Smoking atheist hipsters I know.
Yeah that's about right lol that's what we seem to be in the eyes of the babyboomers. But oh, when they can't figure out how to push "yes" or "no" on the pin pad at the grocery store to complete their purchase then we have to step in with our dumb stoner brain and decypher the code @_@
