Yes, it's a raid exotic and should be good, well here's the stats to show you it is good
Vex mythoclast - rate of fire 340 rounds per minute (5.6 rounds per second)
Damage - 41 head shot and 27 body shot
Potential time to kill -.89 seconds all head, 1.43 seconds all body
Necrochasm - rate of fire 900 rounds per minute (15 rounds per second)
Damage - 14 head shot and 11 body shot
Potential time to kill - 1 second all head, 1.26 seconds all body
-All time to kills are based on a Titan running maxed armour spec
Note - only buff it could use is increased magazine size other than that it's a very strong weapon if used correctly
Edit - full game is being uploaded now. I will add it to the tread once its done processing. I am at the top of the leader board. Using necrochasm, grenades and one rocket. I finish with 21 kills and 7 deaths.
Edit 2 - I like how everyone says they are just bad players as an excuse and say doesn't prove the weapon is good, well in normal crucible there's no level advantage and some uncommon and rares are just as good. And if necrochasm is as bad as everyone says why am I still killing them? How about you form your own opinion and not follow the crowd (most people commenting do not have it or never used it) just cause one person says it bad, everyone doesn't need to agree. Use it for yourself then come to a conclusion. We are all gifted with a brain to make our own decisions. That's the purpose of this video.

4 RepliesImo the necro isn't too bad but it's not great either.
-
3 RepliesIt's a good gun, I found you reloading a lot after one person. That's the only downfall of the gun. I assumed since its impact was low, it'll have a bigger magazine... Guess not.
-
8 RepliesAha wow he has to be a newb!!! XD all three of his classes are warlocks, he chose the easiest way possible to level up...you sir are a lazy scrub ;P
-
8 RepliesRemember a few months ago when someone posted a video here showing how great the Khvostov was? All throughout the video he was killing people with it left and right, then at the end of the video he showed how easy it is to make a gun look good by making a video of yourself killing people with it.
-
1 ReplyNo, it still sucks, I should know, I have it. You only played with probably the worst team ever lol XD
-
1 ReplyNechrocasm in Skirmish... Show me you using it in Clash or Control and I'll consider it more

Edited by BruceLee_NL: 4/9/2015 1:43:06 PMIt was not the enemy team that sucked, but CONNECTION/ SERVERS/ LAG COMPENSATION. I BET that if you played with your worst weapon, you got even more kills! Look good at the video and you will see that the most enemies don't even see you and their bullets don't hit you. I experience this very much, when playing Crucible. (120MB/s download, 12MB/s Upload, 12m/s PING) and i have complained at Bungie about that and even posted video's on Youtube. The problem is: On your screen you already see the enemies, but on their screen they don't see you, yet. When they see you, you were already shooting at them and they don't stand a chance ;) It is like they are shooting with a water pistol at you. Destiny's Crucible FAILS BIG TIME. If you want to play PvP, go play CoD. Most of the time, at least there you don't shoot with a water pistol and they mostly drop when hitted. Also the problem that the enemies see you earlier on their screen is much less at CoD.

1 ReplyThose guys sucked, go against good player and you don't stand a chance
-
4 RepliesI think you misunderstand. The necro is supposed to be the new best gun in the game.. you know.. to replace the vex?... well it's not and therefore needs a buff. Just because you can kill stuff in the crucible with it does not mean it's a winner. The problem here is that after finally getting the crux everyone is mildly disappointed with the gun.. did that happen with the vex? Not didn't think so. Your post is irrelevant.
-
1 ReplyThe gun doesn't suck but it's far from the gun it should or could be. I would never use it for anything other than daily bounties. I can't comment on pvp because I don't play it. In PvE however, it's a huge disappointment.
-
4 RepliesEveryone is saying the enemy team sucked because it's true.
-
2 RepliesLooks like fun to use! Not really into AR but I'm tempted to try and get this just for fun now. Thanks for the vid dude, great work
-
3 RepliesEdited by Miles: 4/7/2015 6:10:14 AMI can pull that type of score using no land beyond. Doesn't mean the gun is good though.
-
1 ReplyOver 3k kills with Necro, 50% headshots. Git gudd scubbies
-
1 ReplyYou wont give it a rest will you if you like the high fire rate guns use them.. its like your trying to get everyone else to use them i really dont see a point to these videos all guns are situational
-
9 RepliesLets play a rumble match, you use your necrochasm and I'll use my last word and let's see who gets a higher score. I will outgun any necrochasm user with any top tier exotic weapon as long as i don't get shot in the back.
-
I always mess around with necro and laugh when I have the high score
-
4 RepliesTime to kill not terrible, I'm not an auto rifle guy but makes me wonder what it was like pre Nerf, Being low impact it probably only took the 2.5% And not close to 14% like Suros
-
1 ReplyNecro has the fastest TTK of all autos. Literally only like milliseconds less than Vex.
-
1 ReplyGreat to see someone who can actually use this weapon well
-
1 ReplyDmg is normalized in crucible. Even ultra crap weapons cAn do decent. Make a video while using it in iron banner and you'll see the difference.

4 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 4/7/2015 6:25:00 AMThis logic is flawed since you're implying that every single shot is going to hit, which with the Necrochasm's low stability is pretty unlikely. The only way you're going to be hitting shots 100% of the time is if you're running CQB Ballistics (Which lowers your damage advantage that Exotics normally have over their archetype) or attacking a player running directly at you/is idle. It's bad. It needs an Impact/ATTACK increase to ever be considered for PvE, and it needs a slight stability and magazine size increase to ever be competitive with better weapons in the Crucible. The 'Exotic Perk' is also near useless since it's a Firely with a chance of activating instead of always. Sure, a chance would be more acceptable if it dealt twice as much damage as a Firefly explosion did, but it doesn't. I avidly use the weapon when I feel like it in both PvP and PvE, and I always feel like I'm hindering my team and my own ability by using that gun. The only reason I ever consider pulling it out is because of the Cursed Thrall Screech, the echoing scream effect when firing the weapon, and because of the cosmetics.

7 RepliesWell ... I don't have either of those guns, but I love my Silimar's Wrath (even in PvE). Keep it on the head, and watch the life bar plummet. Of course there are better choices, but I have fun using it (and don't feel dirty afterward *cough* Thorn). Isn't that what really matters? Still ... I hope they undo that last auto rifle nerf.

3 RepliesEdited by Sonic Roctopus: 4/7/2015 5:45:30 AMThanks for posting, watched both your videos. While I don't think you're a bad player I also do not think you proved necrochasm is a good exotic. I won't go so far to say you were camping at all but a lot of the time you were playing very very defensive. But that makes sense since necrochasm is not a run and gun weapon. It's mags are too small and its damage is too low. To use the necrochasm effectively you need to get the first shot and hope your enemy misses a shot. For an exotic those are some annoying requirements. Also I know a lot of people are saying you're kills were against bad players. This is not true for all of them. But it is for a few (especially in one of your vids where a golden gun hunter kills your teammate, and doesn't even turn to look at you before you unload half a clip into him. If that was me or many other people you would've been dead.) I don't think you can honestly say the necrochasm is on the level of other exotics(pvp or pve). If you were using red death, thorn,or last word or even suros I think your results would've been better. Lastly, I did not notice the "thrall explosion" exotic perk to have any effect on enemy teammates. An exotic whose exotic perk does not come into play cannot be considered a good exotic.

1 ReplyEdited by ShadowStrider09: 4/7/2015 5:24:38 AMSo the guys you were playing were terrible, and you camped/crouched most of the game. That isn't doing much for the gun, 14 on crits is fine, but it flies around too mucha dn has such a short range those statistics you posted are completely useless, sorry man :/ most of those kills took a lot longer than 1-1.26 seconds. Oh, and I have two, they're fine weapons I guess, but they feel more like a blue, and definitely the furthest thing from an exotic, THAT is why it's bad.
-
4 RepliesBut you're not going to hit all of those shots are you? No so technically there are too many variables. Yeah it looks good on paper but in game it sucks.
