Be VERY CAREFUL what you wish for!!!! Yesterday I done the nightfall/daily/weekly. All went well, but another player started beating on me. I WAS KEEPING UP!! But knowing what was "coming next" I decided to change my "load out". It took a short while for the screen to "load"! Then the guy beats on me because I stopped for 30secs!! You people are starting to get f@cking paranoid! Stopping to change load out is NOT AFK!!! (whatever that stands for) P.S. I have done lots of strikes with random players (many of whom have become friends), and ,in the main, it works very well. PPS. you say ONE MINUTE!! Whats your f@cking hurry?? It can take LONGER than that just to use an ammo synth!!

  • First off ammo syn can be used in a dark zone. I used 1 min as an example, in hindsight a longer time would be better. But this is up to Bungie not me. They are usually good at making a balance in their games. Yeah I've meet a hand full of people I regularly play Destiny with through strike lists. I'm not saying everyone is like that, but its growing. As for the jerk you met in your strike he doesn't seem to be very smart, you can easily tell the people that are AFK(away from keyboard) farming apart from those that are just in their inventory. There is normally no rush but people getting rewarded by not doing anything, Is not the way a game of any kind should be played. But to each his own... but these lazy SOBs shouldn't be forced onto the people that truly want to earn the rewards (even if they mostly suck). Are you implying that you don't mind doing all the work to get some blue gear, and at the same time the person that was always just standing there gets a legendary engram?

I am absolutely sick to damn death of busting my ass in these strikes and watching everyone I play with get legendary engrams and/or exotics while I receive yet another stinkin blue engram to dismantle. Some strikes I dominate the stats of my fellow teammates, some games I don't. Not being smart enough to understand how this game works behind the scenes I feel I need to ask, is there some kind of algorithm or something that works out who gets the goodies and who gets the crap? I have a buddy I play with that says he's loaded to the gills with ascendant shards while my Titan rolls with almost 700 plasteel, lol. Good God I wish I had that shard problem, lol! I have run so many strikes that have yielded these results that I almost dread going in them sometimes. I press on though, lol. I actually do LOVE playing this game though. Fantastic work guys and gals!

  • I kinda wonder if they base the rewards on your performance through out the different activities. Its far too common that the worst players(I'm friends with some of them, good people but sucky players) to get the best rewards. One of them gets an exotic every damn VoG run we do, from the labyrinth chest. The other got full raid gear after 1 normal and 1 hard run. I kinda think Bungie has based bad performance on lack of gear, so they give the dumb players better drops. Did it to be nice, but didn't think some people would just suck even if Destiny is the only thing they play.

  • AFK means A Fûcking Kill which means you'll be tasting my sparrow meat by then.

  • At least a way to screw up Walking Tall, but a short lived satisfaction, if they are still in the game as an orb to get rewarded.

  • That's why I keep killing them overall. I don't even quit just like if they AFK in raids, I will keep pushing them off ledges and teabagging them.

  • That's why there should be a boot option. Get rid of them once and for all!

  • Afk is an acronym for "away from keyboard." It started with computer games and worked its way over to consoles. Now I guess you can say "away from kontroller?" The sound is right at least, lol.
