Necrochasm - 900 rounds per minute, that's 15 rounds a second. It takes 15 headshots to kill, giving it a time to kill potential of one second.

Edited by alignedbag: 3/30/2015 7:18:39 PMYeah you're never going to hit 100% headshots at all times. It can potentially kill in a second, but it probably wont.
-
Yea potentially for sure. One day I'll pull it off and feel like a boss tho. Plus style points for its explosion. Everyone knows you just got gunned down my the necrochasm:-)

Destiny db?

Destiny DB?

Destiny database It's a website where they have all the stats for every weapon, including some stats that you can't see in the game, like aim-assist %.
-
I'll have to check it out. I got the rate of fire for the dark below commercial with the dancing hunter in it
-
Hawkmoon can also kill in a second. It only needs that one shot too.
-
I've yet to get that lucky with hawkmoon. I've gotten alot of 128s and 168s tho. It requires all three magic bullets to stack on one shot
-
Either the chances of a one shot hawkmoon have to be higher than that of 15 from necrochasm. Either way, 2 shot hawkmoon kills are consistent.
-
Thorn gets a two shot everytime, hawkmoon has a chance. I'd be interested to find out hawkmoons fire rate for a comparison. The chance is pretty good for a two shot with hawkmoon tho. But trying to fight at hawkmoon without being aggressive and in their face would be a losing battle every time for these types of auto rifles
-
Hawkmoon just has upside that Thorn cannot compete with. And especially due to red death buff, hawkmoon is just so much better now.
-
I like them both equally. When I saw the pictures of them both before the game came out. I knew they would be beast weapons. Even pre buff thorn was still good but no one complained about it back then. But I guess because so many other players have it now. Thorn and red death counter each other as the poison stops the health regen and the health regen stops the poison
-
Hawkmoon'a only primary counter is being aggressive. So I love using it for that.
-
I find I get a lot more head shots with hawkmoon over thorn
-
Where did u got those numbers?
-
Bungie stated in the dark below trailer it fires at 900 rounds per minute. 900 ÷ 60 = 15 rounds per second. Head shot damage deals for 14 post 1.1.1 patch. 15 X 14 = 210. So 15 head shots will kill any guardian regardless of armour spec.

I liked this idea, gonna try this tonight
