Thank you so much for every commeny guys! This is absolutely fantastic!
Seems like the Hive have the advantage for Visual Spookiness and Sadism while the Vex take the 2nd Place for Psychological Terror and the whole "I'll wipe you out of the existence" thing!
Also, it seems we can all agree that the Fallen are not spooky at all.
And that the Cabal can blow up things.
Edit 3: By the way, I voted Vex. If you want to know why, just read the "Ghost Fragment: Vex" Grimoire Cards. You will experience ontological hell.

The Hive for me...and it's no contest. The Cabal aren't frightening. They look like turtles, grunt like hogs and their heads pop right off with the right shot.

1 ReplyI'd say the Cabal, Hive would be second. With the hive at least we would put up a fight and have a chance but with the cabal they would blow up our planet without us even knowing they were coming.

1 ReplyCabal blow planets up

1 ReplyVex can erase your existence if vog enemies are included rather than the normal vex
-
1 ReplyThe Hive in dark places. I think there's a Grimoire card that talks about a place on Earth outside the City where the Hive have invaded. The people in that area are hunted at night by the Hive. Sounds terrifying.

Fallen = world overrun by pirates Hive = world overrun by zombies Vex = world overrun by robots Cabal = world overrun by the military Give or take a few things this is pretty much it

1 ReplyOof. The Hive are pretty terrible, especially going by what's in the Grimoire. I remember doing a looooong patrol of the Moon, killing Hive for the Thorn bounty, and the longer I stayed in the Hellmouth, the more creeped out I eventually became. Can't explain it. Intellectually, the Vex are scarier. Time traveling teleporting mysterious robots? Roko's Basilisk (Google it)? But that's all abstract terror. The Hive are just naturally creepier and sadistic (seriously, read the Grimoire).

1 Replyhive. they's scary and omnigul is mad ugly.

1 ReplyHive is like the flood, they spread fast and can teleport anywhere except the last City

2 RepliesVex can get in your head. ...Yeesh...

1 ReplyMurderous robots that can go back and end me before I'm born? No thanks.

4 RepliesI'd say Vex. They can transform entire planets into machines, they never truly die, they can teletport anywhere so forget fortresses, and there's that whole bit about where they can manipulate time and space. The Hive are irrelevant. The only strength they have is shock value and numbers. Overall their troops are very squishy and easy to kill. Imagine taking an M134 minigun up against a mob of Thralls... The Cabal are most like a conventional army, very close to the old Roman Empire in combat style. They even have Legionaires and Phalanxes. The Fallen...ehh. Pirates and raiders.

3 RepliesThe hive will always be terrifying.

3 RepliesThose damn OP phalanxs

4 RepliesNone. Xur is the real scary one. Mofo appears out of thin air and you'll never know where he gunna be. That and he got all loot stashed somewhere. He has over 9000+ Gjallerhorns! FML: I'm outta here. Ain't no way this Guardian going up against the likes of him.

1 ReplyVex because they would pop out like a horror movie
-
2 RepliesHallowed Thralls, their 'goopy' explosions are just NOPE.
