I'm not at all one of these xurn vs earn people...it's all the same thing in my book, no one party is more entitled than the other. I do however believe in some type of preservation of super rare, exotic weapons and armor. What if for how they offered a new type of week end vendor or xur pdates that offers super rare exotics, gjallhorn for example, for sale with a qualifier. For example...specific loot will only be available to level 30 and above, and will cost more than the usual 13,17,23 numbers. On top of that maybe even having some sort of bounty(s) type mission that must be completed in order to be able to buy it each week for different loot. My [i]logik[/i] here is not being a salty I earned my stuff player...simply because I'm not. I'm actually fairly new to this game, and xurned prob as many exotics if not more than I earned. I do think that certain items like gjallhorn amongst others need to retain some exclusivity because if every level 20's and up at running around with one of the most powerful gun in the game, not only will things be terribly easy for players who are still growing into the game...but the allure of a lot of items, and the game will fade. It's just a thought honestly, and if you have a suggestion towards it please share.
