The Rapier is NOT a poor man's Fatebringer. That's funny. Lol, Fatebringer will be completely irrelevant when HoW comes out. Rare weapons will have more attack than it. I can't wait for all the fanboys to put it down. It's only relevant because of Arc damage. The Rapier is beast, Gheleon's demise is kind of ehh because of stability. But Fatebringer had its time, but it's dead now.

You can't say a weapon is dead when at least 25% of the community is praising it, using it, and doing well with it pal. You're criticizing the Fatebringer Community on using a weapon that's dead, don't you ever wonder if maybe there's a REASON that the community loves it so much?
-
Reverse that statement. You CAN say a weapon us dead if 75% of the community isn't using it. If 25% of the community jumped off a bridge... nevermind, yall probably would
-
75% does not have it..
-
That's literally what I just said
-
You can, however that 25% of the community is still a chunk of the community. And they will argue as such, Fatebringer's perks and stats simply give it an advantage in its own areas against other weapons in PvE.
-
Because it's a Handcannon and handcannons are over rated
-
Edited by Tevis: 3/26/2015 3:56:24 PMThat's an opinion, Nuka stated a fact and you stated your opinion which can be argued against quite easily. I believe both scouts and hand cannons are great weapons, I use both on all three of my characters. Which is my opinion, quite like yours.
-
Lol How hard mode raid captains with arc shields. Fate bringer still useful. Lol
-
If you're using Fatebringer rather than one of the arc Crota raid weapons in HoW hard than you're pretty bad... A weapon built for attacking level 30 mobs can handle 33's well enough but when you start shooting things that are bound to be level 35? That's a 5 level difference and the gun will be terribly outclassed by that point. Fatebringer might still be viable in the normal version but bringing it up in hard is something a fanboy would say.

Edited by Andrenden: 3/26/2015 8:03:34 PMYou're... Joking, right? It's "than"... I... Don't even know what to say to this...
Do me a favor, Google the phrase "Rather Then". Maybe that will help...
-
You're pretty bad if you don't use fate bringer. For everything Lol I mean I have a level 19 rare scout rifle that does dmg I'm hard VoG so level doesn't matter too much. Try it out.
-
Got it, you're a fatebringer dick rider. Just because your weapon can deal damage doesn't make it good. If fatebringer deals damage but only does 5 damage when you could be doing 7 damage you'll be using the sub optimal weapon just because you fear change.
Simplified numbers for a simplified comparison.
-
Maybe for you but see me I play weapons I'm more comfortable with. Like my fav sniper not black hammer or Icebreaker. The old Vanguard sniper that caps at 300 Epitaph 2261. VoC over anything so your "Fatebringer dick rider" kiddy insult is invalid. Most people will use fate bringer trust me. It's a fan fav. Lol but to each his own buddy.
-
Edited by Andrenden: 3/26/2015 9:30:06 AMBut they won't be using it because it's any good at that point. Fatebringer's handling is actually worse than some other hand cannons. The only things that make it what it is are the arc damage and the fact it has firefly. When the damage is so outclassed by other weapons you'll be more of a hindrance than a help by using those weapons. You're a fatebringer fanboy, plain and simple. You're swooning over a gun without any reason other than, "It's fatebringer!"
-
Lol apparently you didn't read what I said correctly. I use weps I'm comfortable with Idc for dmg. Nothing will change with HoWs unless there is something better. Btw Is "fanboy" suppose to be an insult? Just curious Lol
-
No, dick rider was the insult. Fanboy was just what you are. There are other Handcannons that handle better than Fatebringer but people go apeshit for firefly and they think like you do, that fatebringer will always be viable when that's just not the case. You could be he most comfortable with the starting gun but using it in anything current would be stupid. Fatebringer will become this in the next DLC, the gun you'd be an idiot to use because it's so weak compared to other weapons. You honestly started this all by stating Fatebringer will be good in the hard HoW raid. The damage will be outclassed even further than it already is now.
-
I'm a bit late but WOOOOOOO MORE FATEBRINGER IN HoW!!! :p told you it'd still be viable. Lol
-
I stated it will be useful taking their shields down. As I said unless something better comes meaning a better arc hand cannon or even scout rifle fate bringer will be useful. Too each his own/every one has their own preference get off my nuts bro. Lol
-
Bro Fatebringer won't mean shit in HoW. Sure it will take down shields but what about after that? The gun will do so little damage to the enemies.
-
Well I usually take down the shield with whatever primary has that enemies attribute then switch to my sniper and kill them quickly with headshots. Saves sniper ammo. Lol unless that weapon is VoC then I scout the enemy to death. xD But Ik what you mean, most people will still use Fatebringer only because they admire me like me. If it proves tougher than I thought then I'll switch to something new.
-
I wish The Demise had more stability, it's a beast :(
-
Same dude. I love scout rifles but the Demise is too slow and the recoil is just too annoying to deal with. Follow up shots on it are hard to do
-
Edited by m00ninite: 3/26/2015 3:18:08 AMYou realize that Nightfall/Weekly/Daily will likely stay at 30 right? Meaning it will be plenty useful.
-
Fang of Ir Yût still wrecks twice as much with more range. Fatebringer is only relevant in Nightfalls. Also, WoC is garbage too
