I am about ready to toss Destiny in the trash!
Since 1.1.1.1 I have had nothing but issues getting online and staying online. Frequently I have been told CATERPILLAR, HAWK,WEASEL,BEAVER ... Cat Cow Dog insect, and every other excuse on the planet. When will destiny stop cheeping out and actually give the players a decent SERVER to play on or fix the code that is causing disconnects?
My ISP has even assisted in the proper set up of PORTS and updates to my router/modem.
Hard wired, Forwarded, static IP, reserved IP on modem/router via MAC address of XBOX. All work around options including uninstall reinstall completed numerous times without success.
Additionally when I log into destiny it will kick me out and say I need to be signed into LIVE to play... funny thing is I still am signed into LIVE and am not logged out!!!
FIX YOUR SHIT!!! I want to play but since you don't care for my time I think I may just put Destiny and any other BUNGIE crap in the garbage where it belongs!
INCASE YOU ARE WONDERING I VOTED "Hope they step up"

18 RepliesHi, I know it's frustrating but this sort of post is not going to impress anyone, least of all a Bungie tech. I'm not a Bungie fanboy but I want to put two indisputable facts to you. 1) Hundreds of thousands of Destiny players have no issues. 2) Your ISP has admitted THEIR outbound connection to Bungie's server IP is a/the problem. I think a constructive step forward would be to ask (without swearing) what, if anything, has changed about the way Bungie interfaces with your ISP since patch 1.1.1.1, and what, if any, changes your ISP has made that could affect the stability of your end to end connection. My gut feeling is that you will find that your ISP has tweaked their firewall or QoS (Quality of Service) settings. Hope this helps get you back online mate.

Relax mate.and enjoy the "Bugstiny" world,on the left you can admire fabolous bugs on the move,on the right you have an astonishing server network,it was invented by C Drawin last century, but it's still on,that means IT WORKS!!! ;-)

6 RepliesHey there KNL, I understand you're having issues and it's frustrating. I know many players including myself have spots where I could start a zoo. Bungie is always working to provide a pleasing experience to all it's players. With that said they stretch far and wide to provide this experience sometimes tripping up. Your ISP may not be having the issues, could you provide me a little detail to your setup? Hard wired? ISP or Aftermarket HDMI cable? Are you using extenders? Do you have multiple items running on your Internet? And what steps have you run through so we can skip pointless run around? Thanks!

18 RepliesWho is your internet service provider and brandname of your router?

4 RepliesDestiny is P2P. The only servers are the ones that set up matchmaking and the ones that handle your savegame. If you're dropping all the time, maybe get a better router or a better ISP.

2 RepliesIt's not that I'm a fan boy, it's just I don't have the problems. Yet I know there are problems and they need to be fixed. Just because it doesn't happen to some people doesn't mean these errors don't happen. So something needs to be done so everyone can play.
