Sasquatch
He would need to be more of light brown color instead of white. But the white would be perfect for his elite skin.
Sasquatch is powerful, but elusive, highly mobile, and his strikes would be similar to the way a gorilla would strike.
Very high health pool, but only slightly less armor than wraith. His melee is 1.5x faster than Goliath, but does 75% of the damage. His stage 3 would be a little taller than Goliath stage 2.
As his armor increases his fur gets thicker and his eyes would glow extremely bright blue at full armor.
Traversal
Parkour.
Sasquatch takes off at a sprint hurdling, bounding, across the environment. Basically you just aim him and the monster does the rest. Ledges would only reduce the distance covered by a small amount. Some light wall running could be thrown in for style lol. Instead of having three uses it would just be a solid stamina bar, and you would hold down the traversal button until you desire to stop, or the stamina bar is empty. You would still need to hold the climb button, it would just be a Parkour climb lol.
Movement speed is standard, fastest climber out of any monster. When he sneaks he walks on all fours like a gorilla, doesn't lose much speed.
Ability 1.
Ballistic Roar
Sasquatch let's a single roar burst out, all hunters caught in it take moderate damage, and are temporarily stunned (1sec), but not knocked back. Of they are hit mid air, they fall straight to the ground, and cannot use jetpack again until the 1 second of stun is over.
Aimable ranged attack.
Range
1 point= range of Goliath flame breath with 1 point
2points = 97% range of Goliath flame breath with 2 points
3points = 95% range of Goliath flame breath with 3 points
Damage only falls off at the last 10% of the range of the attack. The roar would be displayed in by a single "sound ring", visually warped air, when it is launched, that rapidly goes out in a cone shape from the mouth of Sasquatch.
Ability 2.
Adrenaline.
Sasquatch stands tall and beats his chest and roars. Pumping himself up. His movement speed, smell range, damage, and ability cooldown, and movement speed is buffed:
1 point = 10sec for 10%
2 points = 20sec for 25%
3 points = 30 sec by 50%.
Must be stationary to use this.
Cool down on this ability is 45 seconds after it ends. (Maybe too long, just don't want it to be OP)
Ability 3.
Spin strike.
Sasquatch hits the ground in front of him with one hand, then spins forward 180° pivoting on the hand he just striked with and strikes the ground with the other hand. Creating a very fast, steerable sequence of strikes. 1 point would equal 3 strikes, 3points would max it out with about 6 strikes. Does no splash damage, but does very high damage. Also could be used for traversal.
Must be on the ground to use this.
Ability 4
Shedding.
When activated Sasquatch starts shedding fur, leaving it hanging in the air in his path. The fur would clog the jetpack intakes and the hunters lungs. If he's stationary or stays in an area that already has hair the AOE just grows wider. Points input would affect duration and how large of an area is affected as he moves.
When hunters enter the furenzy ;) they will move at 90% speed, and the jetpack would use double the normal fuel. (Basically one full tank would be good for one air dash) They will also take low damage from coughing because they're inhaling all that fur. Kinda like poison damage. The jetpack beam and acceleration burst would override the movement restrictions
Better ideas are welcome.
The general tacitc is he is high risk high reward play.
Feedback is appreciated!

1 ReplyWhy should Destiny players care? Doesn't Evolve have their own forums?

1 ReplyThat's cool, I was thinking of a wolf/ canine monster. P.S.- maybe you could take peoples posted ideas and edit them like mine. You seem like you could Come up with a few ideas.

Nah. What evolve needs is a brachydios. T-Rex. Ish. A all hits attacks buts slime on you that explodes a few seconds later, places slime puddles everywhere, can leap great distance to close the distance between itself and a hunter, when enraged all slime puddles explode immediately, it's giant slime puddle becomes a wave of explosions forward, and best part. It's already maxed out. That's right. Hunters better run from me, right out of the gate. They are gunna have to be either the best team or exploit the shit out of something to survive more than a few seconds with brachydios runnin around.

1 ReplySounds awesome, might need a little nerf, but I'm sure all the monsters sound a little OP on paper.

1 ReplyThat, is extremely OP. First of all, in a fight a hunters survivability is reliant on their mobility, and since we all know Hunters are slow as snails on foot most movement is based on Jetpacks. Now, 2/4 of the abilities you have disable the Jetpacks, even if it's for a second that is still long enough to be hit once and just get sent flying from knock back into a corner. He also has an insta corner kill with that spiny move. All he has to do is get a hunter in the corner, and he won't be able to move. Not only that, but this monster has a much higher mobility, as well as being able to slow down hunters, making the fights against him rare until stage 3, whereas with other monsters their speed is relatively slow, allowing hunters to at least surprise them and put a dome over their heads. This monster can literally charge on command, and from the sound of it cover ground extremely quickly, making trapping him very difficult.

3 RepliesEdited by TH0MAS THE DANK : 3/24/2015 3:59:47 AMIMO a plant type monster that uses poison and acid would be cool. His traversal could be throwing out vines and pulling himself to the location, sort of like Spiderman. First ability could be an acid spray that damages and slows the hunters for a short time. 2nd one would make the monster throw out lashing vines that knock the monsters back and into the air. 3rd could be a trap like mechanic, the monster would place down fauna in a area that will attack and poison the hunters that come close, doing damage over time and revealing the hunters while they are poisoned. Lastly the monster could fire a barrage of venomous thorns that do damage and cause the hunters to get blurred vision for a couple of seconds.

5 RepliesI was thinking of a spider/arachnid type monster. Climbs fast, jumps far and can leave web traps on the ground that slow hunters down.
