I know what you mean, but no. The whole logic of the spawn points is that you always spawn within your own territory so that you can immediately reinforce your teammates. If you're getting the bad spawn locations it's your team's job to mount a coherent offensive and try and flip the spawn. Of course, that relies on your team knowing how the spawn process actually works; there's nothing more irritating than seeing teammates on blind watch trying to take A...

  • I agree with what you are saying, provided you enter into the Crucible as a team; but Destiny just is not like that most of the time; not for me and the vast majority anyways. So there is no coherent retaliation. That said, yesterday I was playing Blind Watch, my team held B and C, and yet we all kept spawning on the upper platform near A (where A originally was). Also, nobody really waits upon spawning for a team-mate, people just rush out. I just think its a failing for the "Destiny style of Control PvP". I truth, I would prefer a random spawn even if I held the better points. just to spice things up.

  • Oh, I know exactly what you mean... There are a lot of issues with the PvP side of things. If they made the team chat "opt out" rather than "opt in" that would really help things along, as at least then more people would be able to hear each other. In terms of broader changes, Forbes publish a brilliant article able this. Will see if I can dig up the link.

  • Awesome, thanks. I hope you can find that article. Also, great suggestion on the opt-out strategy (which has been very successful with Employer Retirement plans).
