I don't know about anyone else but this chat never works for me. I can be in a strike and see that another person joins the chat, I do the same can't hear anything. On top of that, my friends, who we are in a party together, can hear the other person or people in the tower, but I cant. Also they say that the other person can hear me. What's up? What am I doing wrong?

I've got the exact same problem. When I join a fireteam I can't hear anything and they can't hear me. I can see them taking to each other. Even if we switch to party chat I still can't hear anything. My NAT is open and I've forwarded all the ports. It's killing me because I can't raid. What's the point of the game if you can't raid. Have you managed to find a solution? Oh and chat works perfectly for other games.

Hay mike. I don't have a problem with friends that I invite or get invited to play with. So three of us on a fire team is ok. I use to have problems with that last year. I use to fix it by having us get into a part threw Xbox. I can't here people in the tower or in a planet when it says open chat allowed or whatever. I know of a few people that have this problem. Not sure what to do to fix it.

Ah ok thanks anyway though appreciate the response. The party chat doesn't even work for me. It's so frustrating and trying to get any feedback from Bungie is impossible. Guess I will have to find another game to play
