I'm fairly sure anyone in this day and age with some slight guidance could not only build their own gaming computer, but also *gasp* install some drivers themselves. But then again, the generalisation is probably true to some extent.

Its not plug and play simplicity You have to know what your doing. you have no idea how many times i see people get gtx or amd high end graphics cards and put them into a pcie 2.0 8 lane slot and get half the performance because they hit saturation OR someone that gets teo cards to sli thinking they will get a linear increase in performance when in actuallity the second card is also running on an 8 lane pcie.
