I plan soon to go back through R.A. Salvatore's Drizzt Do'Urdern books.

YES!!! Excellent choice. I have yet to pick up the latest, Charon's Claw, but each one is so good.

I've been out of the loop for a long time now and I kick my self in the ass for it. The last book I actually got to sit down and read was The Thousand Orcs.. I think I am about 10 years behind lol I'll catch up one day I hope.

Edited by MurcSpyder: 1/13/2013 6:55:33 PMThe Thousand Orcs? O___O So far behind.... That's the first book of the Hunter's Blade trilogy. After that was the Transitions trilogy (mid-late 2000s), which segued the 'old' FR universe into the new 4th Edition FR universe. And currently, the Neverwinter trilogy, which is more of a quadrology, since the 4th book is supposed to come out this year. I don't want to spoil anything about any of them, but suffice to say, they are amazing reads. Have you read the collected anthology of Drizzt short stories? Explains the origins and beginnings of some of his characters, and explores a little more into others.

No I haven't. I need to drop the video games and get back to reading. -.-

You should. Especially if you are going to be reading the Drizzt series. Totally worth it. I've been thinking of re-reading the entire series, but I'm waiting until Salvatore releases the latest book, gonna buy the two I don't have, read those, then re-read everything from the beginning. I love reading, though. :D
