There has never been even a single shred of verifiable evidence in support of the notion that deities exist in the entirety of Human history. Furthermore, no rational and/or logically-consistent arguments exist in favor of this concept either. And lastly, science and reason provide us much better explanations for the questions that religion attempts to answer, and they do so using evidence and proper reasoning.
So while it is not possible to unequivocally state that deities do not exist, it is a reasonable assumption to work under given all of the available data.

Haha no. I was raised catholic and went to catholic school as a kid, but they made the mistake of teaching us about religion, because that's what prompted a journey of questions that led me to atheism. Then my parents found out and sent me back to catholic high school and it really urks me having to deal with it all the time.
