I think the Carnage should be the Hub for all gaming on Bungie.net. One way to achieve this is to have a 'Leader or Head' for each main game such as;
- Halo [Head: Tom]
- Destiny [Head: Bob]
- CoD [Head: Jim]
ect..
Then, that user would be able to plan/overlook gamenights just for that particular game. Anyone who wants to set up a Halo gamenight for example would talk to Tom (as shown above). That way everything could run smoother..
Thoughts?

Edited by Tom T: 1/13/2013 12:05:27 AMThe little bureaucracy we have is a necessary evil for maintaining standards. Staff may have their preferences, but they're also free to branch out. If several want to do the same game that's great, they can host multiple lobbies or co-host. Since CC was rebooted equality and democracy, amongst both staff and members, have been strongly stressed. The only head positions we really have are (1) that of the organiser leading an event. They generally have final say, but they are expected to work with the group, take note of suggestions and make changes if reason or consensus (not just limited to staff; all members who give feedback are valued) is against them . And (2) the overseer roles (initially Qbix and I) which are in place purely to ensure staff only need focus their attention on events, not the distribution of power (and the drama that inevitably comes with it). Without power being an issue, as domineering personalities wouldn't last long, the emphasis is upon providing a service, and doing things that are in the best interest of the community. I rambled on a bit there... tl;dr I don't think we need to add any more bureaucrazy (:P) than we already have.

Honestly, I think the old system could stay with the old site. Now we can easily have any member propose an event and have an approval from a top admin(Qbix/yourself), if it is to be Carnage sanctioned. Of course that member would have to organize it all, but that would be in the post itself. I can see the new structure of the site producing more leaders for events like these, and that's a good thing.

I agree with the Brit.

Which one?

You're a Brit? You poor, poor soul.

Poor? Nah. Britian is one of the best places to live. Way better than the US.. (IMHO).

I went to London once for five days. Saw the sun for a total of an hour. Good times.

Admittedly if you pick any day this winter everyone is driving with their car headlights on at 2pm.

Edited by Arbitor5: 1/13/2013 12:31:38 AMHaha, I know, it rains quite a bit sometimes. But then, I don't mind becasue if that is the WORST weather that we get then so be it. Very few tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions ect. Snow comes about once a year. :)
