Halo 2 is the reason I still play video games. I play because I'm always waiting for that same feeling that I got when I played Halo 2 I played 6000 games of halo 3 and about 3000 games on reach waiting to get that feeling but I never truly got it back.. It literally makes me tear up.

 • Nostalgia always flavors the past sweet. My suggestion: Let it go my friend. Look to new memories instead of trying to recreate the halcyon days of your early gaming career. They are times that will never come again, but the times ahead could be equally as promising :)

 • The days ahead can never hold as much promise as the days of the past delivered. Back in the day, I had very few concerns which gave me the opportunity to stay up to the early hours of the morning playing "one more game" of Infection on Headlong, or Tower of Power on Ascension, until my eyes forced themselves shut. Now my time playing is limited, and the gang of friends I used to play with have all gone off to different places so we rarely ever get to play anymore. Most games I play these days are only for the single player, which are great and are truly unforgettable experiences, but Halo 2 was the highlight that can't be beaten or matched by any current shooter. There's a reason they're called halcyon days.
