Some thoughts on Matchmaking, Sociality, and Raids
Destiny is one of the few games in the history of my life that moves my imagination to see more. It is an exiting game which has so much potential for the future. I'd like to see a system within the game that encourages social activity between Guardians, especially for high level events. I have three suggestions to improve the social aspect:
1] Let's say, you finish the Weekly Strike with three other gents (or ladies), the game should then give you the option of doing the Nightfall together or even matching with another group of three to do a Raid on normal.
2] I like to see a space - a social space with ample Guardians (50 per space?) - where you can meet others who are LFG to do Crota's End, the Nightfall, Iron Banner, the Crucible, the Vault of Glass, the Weekly, or even to do some patrol!
3] I'd also like to see an in-game team building message board which functions across 'the world', where you can finds others looking to do the same thing as you, and click their name to send an invite or to advertise yourself or you Fireteam as looking to do a specific task such as a Raid or the Crucible so others can ask to join or invite you.
Just some constructive feedback from someone who has struggled with the social aspect, having picked up Destiny after not having played video games properly for about three years to find that most of my friends are no longer on line.
