Mine doesn't work either. 343i sure choked on this. And all they had to was remaster the visuals. Sad really.

Dude. They basically took windows 95 2k NT and Vista and multi booted with one user interface. No small feat.

At least they worked

Yeah. But you may have to do what millions of IT professionals had to do with those: reinstall

Exactly my thoughts if it was as simple as a new lick of paint then the game wouldn't have been bugged for so many.

Edited by Capt Explodabob: 3/7/2015 10:26:45 AMI'm not going to sit here and pretend to know the ins and outs of game development, but I know a little on networking and porting. Simply stating that raising four games to 1080p/ 60fps, getting two games which ran on P2P to run on DS, running two interchangeable engines over one game, creating new assets which correlate with existing hitboxes/ new audio and creating a seamless interface and controller layout(s) is tantamount to a just a visual upgrade is incredibly stupid; it's far from just "remastering visuals". Let's not even talk about the A.I and animation problems associated with doubling frames in games which were locked at 30fps.

Lol it looks like we've got yet another armchair-developer here.

Leave the thinking to the adults, bud.

>Implies someone who talks about programming like they're a professional on a forum is an armchair developer >talks about programming like they're a professional on a forum >doesn't like being called an armchair developer

Edited by Capt Explodabob: 3/10/2015 4:05:55 AMGreen text, huh? Okay. >Implying somebody who obviously has no idea what they're talking about when it comes to game development yet acts like they do isn't an armchair developer >implying stating basic facts is "talking about programming like a professional" >implying that anybody would like to be called an armchair developer >still can't come up with something original

Exactly my point jus a lick of paint it was not!
