They just thought we'd buy vendor gear? Ok. Helmets and chest pieces cost 120 marks each. Then there are the gauntlets and boots. Weapons are 150 marks a crack. Earning marks is relatively slow compared to other games (yes it's a generalization). With a cap of 100 marks earned a week, and a total cap of 200 marks per character that's easily two months of work to max one titan/warlock/hunter. Looking back on things, my mind is blown by the amount of time I've spent on this game.
At the moment, I'm just trying to max all of my exotics and gear so as to give myself a reason not to play. It's like a bad addiction.

Well, I think bungie said they figured people would only play 30 minutes to an hour a day, so maybe they thought this is how the game would last 10 years At the rate of progress bungie projects, how could anyone have max anything by the time a dlc rolls around I'm beginning to wonder if bungie ever conceived of players ever maxing any weapon or gear I just get confused by what they say, and the product they offer, seems like two different worlds at times

They say they only expected people to play 30 minutes a day? That doesn't make any sense. Bungie even stated that the raids could take hours to complete. :/

I came across that in a few posts that quoted and paraphrased things bungie said Seems they figured people would only play 30 minutes to an hour a day I wish I could find the posts lol, because I'd really like to dig into that a bit more But I'm a tech noob lol, and search is my enemy!

I don't think they fully understand how to effectively and fulfillingly play the game they've designed
