When Bungie employees open up about Destiny they prove their lack of understanding of what they've develeoped.
They intended us to buy gear and rng would be the cherry YET the max light level is behind rng. So did the left hand not talk to the right hand during development?
They expected players to only play on average of 30min a day. Can you imagen leveling exotic guns only playing 30min a day? That grind is worse than 59-60 in eq back in 1999(that was an 8hours 5days a week for a month zero deaths grind).
The fact that they said that the loot cave was slower than grinding strikes without noting a strike modifier to loot would suggest they are horrible at math. Kills per minute flatline several times in strike grinds while in the loot cave there is no fluxuation, it's steady.

Edited by T3mpest: 3/6/2015 8:45:57 PMYeah, that's why the added engram rewards to the hardest strikes. It easily balances out the engram drops as you get a pair of blues in most cases AND gives you marks to buy weapons and armor.

As I rmember it the engrams were added to strikes around the time the loot cave was nerfed. So yes after they finally modified their strikes their math would level out. Although I still to this day saw more legendary engrams from the 14hours I spent at the loot cave than I have in the countless hours I've had in strike playlist. To this day most of my legendary engrams have been from cryptarch rep leveling.

I miss when I was a newbie in eq. That was my first mmo. Playing a Dark Elf necromancer for the first time trying to find my way through Nariak. The newbie log had the most epic fights. By the way, how can a grass snake punch? East Commons tunnels and Sgt. Slate, oh the memories. That game was brutal on the grind, but I was young and had the time so I did. This game hasn't even had a fraction of the awe that EQ inspired. Maybe I'm jaded.

Lol my first was a halfling warrior I miss running through runneye owning goblins lol I miss the raid bring as many people or least amount you wanted lining up racing to spawns trying to get there before other guilds which server did u play on?
