Exotic Weapon RNG Roll

Just like a random legendary weapon IMO the exotic weapons should have their own rolls as well. Think about it. Exotics are known for their signature stats and style. [b]Besides the signature perks[/b], they should reroll everything else so we have a more broad choice of exotics. Hell, add some element damage as well. We have some handful of exotic weapons that are pure kinetic, now if my Destiny experience is right, just because you apply elemental that doesn't match the correct elemental shield your foe has on doesn't do a negative damage correct? So why not add a random guarantee element damage roll as well? No kinetic. With all this, we could have our own, more broad, signature exotics of our own. Hell if you want to take a step further make Xur have a [b]feature[/b] to reroll your exotics via Motes of Light. Armours maybe. List your opinions and voices below.

  • Instead of re-rolling it, all exotics should be exactly the same just with more options, sort of like what fang of ir hut and abyss defiant have, or additional muzzles or secondary perks. As an example, Super Good Advice doesn't revolve around the Crowd Control perk or thorn doesn't revolve around the final round perk, but Hawkmoon revolves around the luck in the chamber perk and truth revolves around the grenades and horseshoes perk so Hawkmoon and Truth can't be changed in the perk slot but for Thorn and Super Good Advice they can.
