Seriously? At least throw some droids in there, make it a challenge.
Flood > All form of sentient life (except the chief, of course)
English
-
All of them are >>Chief
-
Doesn't matter. The flood consumes the 501st and Vader.
-
How? Spires wouldn't infect then and I doubt they could take them down normally
-
What do you mean? They can easily be infected.
-
How? They'd get mowed down when they got close
-
The flood would surround the 501st and wear them down. The flood have more infectors than the Stormtroopers do ammunition. They'd suffer many casualties, but they would just keep coming and coming long after the 501st's weapons ran dry, and consume all the troops.
-
They'd move back and get more ammo, while Vader is living and force pushing the flood into pieces
-
Vader's strength isn't infinite. The flood will outlast him.
-
Maybe if they could send every single one of their forces to one place
-
Why can't they?
-
Edited by Not Vex: 3/2/2015 1:33:16 AMBecause that would take a long time

You're assuming they would need all of their forces. I would say that your logic is flawed, but that would imply that you're using logic. Your notion that not even a single trooper would fall to the flood is absurd. Let's take a look at the facts: Master Chief without Cortana > any given soldier of the 501st. I know you'll try to debate this with your awful fanboy logic, but you know it's true. Now, the chief would have been consumed by the flood had it not been for Cortana overloading his shields in order to get an infection form. So, the flood can defeat the Chief without Cortana. The 501st doesn't have Cortana. Also, this was after the Forerunners fired the rings for the first time, so the flood was not even at their full strength. So, weakened Flood > Chief without Cortana > a 501st trooper. So, the flood at their full strength should be more than a match for the 501st. As the battle goes on, the 501st will weaken, but the flood will only grow stronger. So stop fanboying and just accept that the 501st are just another meal to the flood.
-
You just said chief> a republic/imperial commando I'm not going to attempt a debate with anybody who says that it's so absurd.
-
Edited by BenjyX55: 3/2/2015 1:54:14 AMWow, I did not expect you to debate that! Your fanboying needs to stop. Now.
-
You're calling me a fanboy yet you just said a spartan could beat a republic commando Lmfao
-
Edited by BenjyX55: 3/2/2015 1:58:39 AMAssuming their training is equal, the Spartan II is stronger, can react and move faster, and can take more hits.
-
If your sole argument against Vader being overwhelmed is that concentrating forces is difficult, the flood has already won.
-
I was speaking of the 501st, And I'm pretty neutral it's just that nobody's put any arguments for Vader lol The Gravemind would likely not send all of his forces at once
-
The problem with Vader is that he has to sleep. Regardless of how OP he is, if every single 501st got infected, he would have to sleep sometime and the flood would get him.
-
He'd go into one of the trances to get his rest.
-
A force trance, sure, but how does that stop the flood from infecting you?
-
I mean he wouldn't do it in the midst of battle, he'd have to kill all attacking him or get somewhere else
-
What I'm trying to say is if the flood were attacking him (or even waiting for him to sleep), EVENTUALLY he'd grow too tired. He'd either make a mistake or fall asleep, and then the flood would chew on him.
-
I feel you I still don't know if they'd be able to wear hind own enough or make him struggle enough
-
And isn't there some kind of mind control that comes from being around the flood?
