501st: Elite Clone/Storm trooper squad. Darth Vader is a sith with a lightsaber that can cut almost anything (energy sword) and the ability to choke things from a distance. Has Death Star which can destroy planets. Aiming good when non-important characters are around, aim is bad if important characters are around.
Flood: Can break down doors. Infect what the kill. Only way to stop is killing all their food (sentient life). Various forms of the flood, some are small particles floating in the air. Can also use weapons.
Darth Vader and the 501st would have to blow up every planet the flood is on, even then some of the flood may escape. If any of the flood reaches the Death Star it is game over for the 501st. If this is the first time the flood was in the Star Wars Galaxy, they would at first not know whats going in. If Darth Vader somehow gets infected, everyone is screwed. If there is a grave mind it must be destroyed before it can fully develop.
Flood.

It's a legion, not a squad.
-
Flood can technically infect the living
-
This would make one hell of a tower defence game!

How would they infect Vader? And Vader doesn't have the Death Star, that's Palpatine, vader has pretty much destroyed a planet with the force before, he also has force push and grapple.
-
The flood would surround him, some of the ones that are tiny and float around too. He would try to kill them all, but one will get him, eventually. If all the float were focused to infect him, they could do it. I don't know if the float have necks so I don't think force choke is very effective. The force push and pull though, that might help a little. And if he destroys the planted he's on, he's dead.
he probably destroyed the planet in the expanded universe, which is not really canon.
-
They'd surround him and he'd tear them apart....
-
Remember the tiny ones?
-
Easily chopped apart or shot before the got close. He can sense them.
-
Teeny tiny microscopic sort of gaseous flood. It's in halo wars and I have seen stuff about it online.
-
But they all have advanced helmets so they would be useless
-
So do Spartans. But I am sure the little ones can go through the little air filters toon systems too many, too fast, disabling it.
-
Chief never got infected
-
Chief has luck, Vader does not.
-
Nobody has that much luck and Vader has the force
-
He can't use lightening.
-
Because of his suit yet he can resist it.

Edited by Jasondurgen: 3/1/2015 4:58:46 PMThe Flood infection eats through almost anything. Armor is like taking a bite out of a candy bar for the flood.
