Crucible takes just as long as a ROC strike and you get 6 marks from that...

Nope. The Marks are fine, it's the rep that is terrible. After just a weekend of doing Iron Banner for a few hours, I had over 150 Marks, but I was only Rank 1 with the Crucible. If I kept playing, I would have hit the 200 cap before I could even buy 1 single piece of gear. We get unlimited sources for Vanguard rep, while the Crucible rep is extremely limited.
