I'd support a trade system that either, A) was limited to trading amongst the players in your fire team within 60 seconds of earning of the item.
Or B) a further version of the RNG, i.e...an NPC or "machine" that you put an item into it and it'll spit out a like item in the other side. The catch is that once an item goes through the vendor, you can't trade with that vendor until the weekly reset. Secondly, there's a chance the vendor will upgrade or downgrade the level of the item. And, as in RL, there's even a chance it'll eat your item and give you nothing.
