Eden of the East will always have a special place in my heart. That's the first anime my wife actually sat down and watched with me, and she liked it.

Edited by Nick Tool: 3/1/2015 6:31:00 PMGreat list, some of my favorites. For you I recommend Neon Genesis Evangelion (if you really want to watch that reply back, there's an order you'll want help with), Gurren Lagann, Seitokai Yakuindomo, Hellsing Ultimate, Black Lagoon, and Future Diary. If you want more I can think of a few, but those should tie over (Especially Evangelion, if you're interested about the greatest anime to ever exist I'll give you the order just ask)

I really want to get into that!!! Which order?!?

This is the order Episodes 1-24 of Neon Genesis Evangelion The movie: End of Evangelion If you would like, watch 25 and 26 of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Warning: they make no sense at all, and there was barely any budget put into them. They are practically blank screens with talking that confuse the shit out of you. End of Evangelion was made as the true ending after enough money was made from the series to release the true ending. It is still confusing, but not killer like 25 and 26. The movie has action and basically 25 and 26 are just the characters thoughts at a certain point in the movie (don't want to spoil, it's the end of the series), while the movie is what was happening for the thoughts to come about. JUST TRUST ME, WATCH 1-24 THEN END OF EVANGELION, IM TRYING TO HELP YOU. Now, watch the "Rebuild of Evangelion" movies. These consist of: Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo The 4th and final movie has yet to be released. After the second movie, the rebuild series takes a whole new plot and doesn't follow the original Neon Genesis Evangelion, so watch Neon Genesis Evangelion first. Watching many theory and explanation videos on YouTube is also useful. My favorite is along the lines of "Evangelion explained in 7 minutes" Wait, you're not done! Watch everything before the rebuild movies again (they are optional) as you will pick up many things you have missed. All of this besides the YouTube videos is available on a website called kissanime(I think putting a website is against Bnet). The website is mobile friendly too!
