I want to feel bad for you. I almost do. However, I have to side with several people and blogs about one issue. In the video, you decided to handover control, after you thought you were going to be shown a cheat/glitch.
Be happy that Bungie isn't handing you a permanent ban, as I have seen them do to others trying to glitch the game. In fact, I am surprised they have punished both you and the other parties involved.
Two months of grinding is nothing in the long run. Just focus and get back to it.

The kid is 11. No court would hold him to being responsible for this kind of action. It was a mistake on his part not a crime. The other guy clearly plotted to do this to him, and should be held to a much higher standard and harder penalties. There is a reason why most online services require you to be 18 to adhere to the code of conduct, or have parental permission. People that think he deserved it must also think kids and women deserve it when they are sexually assaulted, because clearly they put themselves in that situation.

Let me put this in perspective for you: a kid trying a glitch in a game vs real life crime
-
I'm sorry did you just compare criminals to someone who messed up I a video game? Bravo -blam!- Bravo

This and this For those that call for kirmit to be banned for being a douche, that would mean acknowledging the kid wanted to glitch to get to 32 which means acknowledging the kid would have committed an offense that would result in a ban.
-
Exactly. They both share some guilt here. It is a hard lesson to learn. If this had happened to him, without the attempt at glitching, I would truly be on his side.

Maybe he was just curious to see how the glitch worked ? (I don't really believe that, but since u guys are going to extremes, I can do to) And there is a big difference between the kid trying a harmless glitch which doesn't harm anyone, and a guy whose only purpose was to actually do something harmful (or hurtfull or mean) If you're gonna claim code of conduct and throw the book at the kid, you (or he) didn't know the nature and mechanics of the glitch that doesn't exist, so nobody knows if it actually breaks the rules. Example: pushing the templar or atheon off the ledge

hey u want to say tha u never glitched atheon or son of crota?? Bungie also official repost videso where the raid is being glitched, i played with massive bunch of players, we played raid with so many various people and i havent met 1, 1 PLAYER that have never glitched the raid with friends
-
Nope. I have never glitched the raids. In fact, I have never completed either raid. I was in one for about three hours, killing adds for a team. However, after the team I was on wiped 20 times, (yes, that bad) they abandoned. I didn't really enjoy it, so I have never been back. I have kept myself to strikes, which I actually enjoy, but have been away from Destiny since last year. I also keep to the Iron Banner, when it comes time. I completed the missions for the first expansion, but never stepped foot in the raid. You might have played with other players who glitch, but you would never play with me. I would bail if I noticed any glitching. I will not be in a party with someone who does. This is not out of some self-righteous mentality, but out of the concern for being guilty by association. I will not be banned because someone else is glitching on the fireteam.

Pushing Atheon off the edge with solar grenades is quite different than instantly attaining max level with no effort.
