Knights, Vandals and Psions don't have shields.
Captains, Minotaurs and Centurions do.
Those are the only mobs I've seen in the single target public events, but that's usually how I see it play out.

Mars- Psions DO have shields when they are the eliminate the target. There's even PS4 footage of it on youtube. Venus- Same situation. Moon. Knights, Wizards, and Captains all do. Rocketyard enemies have ALWAYS had shields every time I've encountered them day 1. I honestly don't know you're experience, but to also die so easily to players after two clips of bullets is kind of extreme to be calling it an enemy... it's basically a normal major enemy killed within a few shots.

I've never done a public event against a shielded Psion. Same thing with Knights.

I'm actually a little bit shocked you haven't. What's your secret? I always get shielded enemies. Literally every time...
-
Dunno. Every time it's an enemy event, I pray for Psions/Vandals/Knights/Servitor, since they never have shields for me. Wizards are easy they just move around, and Captains are the worst. Their shield comes back almost instantly, they constantly move even while shooting, and their health drains so slow.

Well... guess you are the lucky ones then. All the enemies you listed above I've fought on various planets with shields. Rocketyards is literally the first time I've seen any of them without shields...

Edited by Ferth: 2/19/2015 2:22:26 AMStrange. I remember Knights and Psions without shields... Perhaps there is some sort of rebalancing effect that takes place depending on the success the last time an event happened? If an eliminate the target pops up and no one participates or it is marked as a failure maybe the next time it spawns easier? That could certainly account for the times when there is an eliminate the target event and it's just ludicrously difficult as well. The game awkwardly trying to rebalance events based on past success/failure rates?

Good luck figuring that out. All I know is that was the first time the sword of crota spawned in literally 50 yads away from the target and they both were weaker then usual... I think it's just the game mixing up stat's, but hey. Deej'll see it, pass it along, and we'll see where it goes in the future...
