I've been having this issue for some time, on Xbox/wifi. I've tried the solutions with no joy.
However, I tried today with another wired connection (borrowed a friends) and after reinstalling the update (for the bajillionth time) got just under an hour playtime without wasp or weasel error.
This is the most error free playtime I've had in some time , as I had been getting bumped off after about 10-20mins, sometimes after as little as 1min. I was able to do 2 strikes today - which is a bloody miracle.
I then logged out and logged back in and got another 30mins uninterrupted - 2 rumbles, again I was previously lucky to get through one.
I can't say it's solved the issue until I put more time in tomorrow to see how stable this is - or whether it's just a coincidence. I changed nothing apart from plugging my xbone into my friends router with an Ethernet. No settings were touched, routers, or anything else.
I did also note a couple of odd things during the process which I've passed on in the hope that it might help isolate the issue for everyone.
I might only have had a temporary respite, but though I'd let you guys know that it's not impossible!!

Edited by Fitzso: 2/20/2015 11:29:50 AMUsing a wired connection has eased my weasel so far(!) I got a solid 2hrs last night which is the most I've had in weeks. HOWEVER- clearing the cache, and using my wifi/mobile broadband, causes the update to download again (although the file composition is very different than when using a wired connection). However although it looks to have downloaded it doesn't appear to have overwritten the update I installed over the wired connection. I am still having to download 'something' every log in. I would suggest, if you can, taking your xbox to someone else's house or your work, and downloading the update from a different connection other than your own. No idea why this makes a difference but it does apparently
