Very definitely! I've ruined my £3k tv. I've had to reduce the amount of time I play destiny to prevent further damage.

Hate to tell you this but your TV will never recover unless you stop playing 100%. Took 2 months with heavy wiping and no destiny along with varied content to remove it on mine. And in varied content that also meant every other xb1 game because their games don't leave inage retention. destiny does and they won't axhknowledge it.

Yeah I know, image burn won't go away on mine now. Lesson learned. I'm going to buy an LCD / LED tv and use the PS4 on that instead, and then try what you did - 2 months of wiping every night and varied content. Damn Bungie, how has can it be to get rid of the HUD!

Sorry to hear that man. It will get better. You made a good decision with the Plasma. Just stick with it and the retention will go away and don't play destiny until they address the issue.
