I didn't follow much of that tbh but how about an oversized psion instead of phalanx

The reason went with the oversized Phalanx is because of it's defensive abilities. A Psion has none, and so the strike would just entail shooting it until it is dead with no strategy involved, much like the Dust Palace Strike. With the oversized Phalanx as the strike boss, players have to work to defeat it. I appreciate the input though. Thanks.

Psions are quick and have multiple offensive capabilities. Phalanxes are slow and uh, are complete bullet sponges. So I think you've got it opposite

Every strike boss is a bullet sponge as you put it, so it does matter what they are. And there's a really good reason not to have a Psion as the Strike Boss for the Strike I came up with, as I've said before, Psions are already used as a Strike Boss for the Dust Palace Strike and would be redundant to use again. I have thought this through. Thanks for the feedback.

Haven't played that one. Xbone over here. But yeah I mean there's regular sized psions in that strike. There's regular sized phalanxes in the valus taauruc strike. Same thing. I think a giant psion is a much more compelling foe than a giant phalanx.

Giant Psion wouldn't make sense. As I understand it, storywise, Psion are meant to be small as they are technicians and pilots. I appreciate the input.

So make a giant psion that's not a technician or pilot. Who cares. Giant phalanx would be incredibly, incredibly boring. Whatever man keep up the ideas
