Hey guys,
if I use my microphone, I have permanent the loudspeaker symbol in the right corner on my display, so i send permanent my voice. How can I change this problem? I use a Rode NT USB microphone, where i plugged my headphones too. So this way is perfect for me, because i can mix up my individual audio sound. I dont want to reconnect it everytime, so that I connect the headphone with the controller and disable my microphone. And by the way, sorry for my bad english. :)

2 RepliesYour mic can't be that good, then. Games don't detect if a mic is muted or not; the console gets no signal to tell it a mic is muted. Games detect if the mic is making a lot of noise: if it is, then someone must be speaking. If your mic is making a lot of noise, when there isn't a lot of noise, then your mic is crap or broken.

2 RepliesThe only way to mute your mic is through the mic itself Not many games offer manual mute for yourself anymore

2 RepliesTurn down your TV. The problem is that the mic picks up on background noise and if you have your TV loud it will consistently broadcast your TV (or if you are listening to music, the same). So if you do this it should keep that from being constant. Also, try not breathing so hard :)
