We'll I mean if you actually play the game which I assume that you do. Then maybe you can realize titans can be used for anything in any situation of the game.
I like to look at it this way. It's the same as the difference between icebreaker and black hammer. Icebreaker being warlocks and hunter and black hammer being the titans.
Anyone can use a -blam!-in icebreaker it's not that hard. Not everyone can land 3 precision shots in a row to get another mag.
If you don't understand the analogy we'll then I'll summarize it for you. Two types have sub classes that only kill. Titans have one that do so. Defender is undoubtably a better class in many cases. It's about the team man. Titans can do amazing feats like make a whole team survive an oversoul in crota with just two bubbles. Warlocks may have self res but hunters don't. Of the three titans have the highest jump. That's a fact I can prove it in numerous ways. I can't name all the reasons why I choose to be a Titan over the other two. It was apparent the moment I started to play as a warlock after I played a Titan. Useless? I think not. Master race? No way because there isn't one master race that's a fact. Everyone hear has an opinion but no one is saying well no there actually isn't a master race because it's all biased one sided opinions so there will never be better classification. This game is balanced and bungie intended so. It's fair so that nothing out ways another. You can basically say it's a game of Rock Paper Scissors between three people. No one wins in the end if they all choose a diffrent option.
