I've got both consoles so I like to think my opinion is reasonably unbiased. At this point there's little reason to buy an XB1 except for a few exclusive titles. Nearly all games released on next (current) gen consoles are multi-platform, so unless your itching to play Forza or Dead Rising I can't say it'll be worthwhile. If Windows 10 allows you to stream games from the XB1 that'll be a good feature to contend with PS4 remote play.
I would say the same thing if the situation were reversed.. if you wanted to buy a PS4, the key difference is the exclusives.. this year there'll be a few more for each console. PS4 has also shown better performance in many games, mainly in the form of 1080p vs 900p.. a difference that is hard for the human eye to perceive, but a difference nonetheless.
I like the XB1 controller better, although the 360 controller was a bit more comfortable.

Why would anyone want to stream xbox onto their PC? At least w/remote play, you can play on a PSvita or a phone or on another tv in the house w/the PStv hooked up to it.

PC (laptop), Windows phones, Windows tablets. It'll be a little more limited than remote play but it'll still have its uses.

Oh word? That's cool then. I've got a buddy w/a vita who has a very non-demanding job at which he logs into Destiny all the time at work....do you know if you have to be in the same network to stream xbox to windows devices?
-
I haven't heard either way if you have to be on the same network. I hope not, or else it will greatly limit it's usefulness.

You forgot HALO 5.
