Ps4 console> Xbox console No network is immune to going down so the console itself outweighs the network

Remains a mystery to me why they did not learn something from the Xbox one. I can only attribute that to typical Sony hard headedness. Maybe if someday Sony creates their own serevrs rather than leasing they may have decent online gaming, but I have zero faith in Sony. Their track record speaks for itself, but that's my bias.

So what if it goes down a couple times a year it's not a big deal I'd rather miss a few days of playing on the better system than constantly have access to the console i don't like

Sorry was editting. Look, not here to start an argument, the OP asked, I gave my opinion. That's all it is, an opinion. PS4 wasn't even a consideration for ME when I upgraded my 360. If you are happy with your PS4, I am glad for you.
