Idea for spam filter.
Normal member : 1minute between posts
Heroic member : 30seconds between posts
Legendary member : 15seconds between posts
Mythic Member : No filter
Thoughs?
EDIT: This also will help with new members that spam forbidden links. They will only be able to cause half as much havock.
The times could also be based off trust rating but that would have to be integrated into the system somehow. eg: Member with no bans perfect trust can get their post time down to say 30seconds etc

Are you kidding me? I run into the darned 10-second spam filter pretty often enough as it is! It has cost me the first post in so many threads. The point of the spam filter as I see it is to prevent someone from flooding the forums. It also serves as a preventitive for someone going from thread to thread just spamming crap. I wouldn't mind a 5 second increase but I really dissagree with the OP about the 30 second and 3 minute one. [Edited on 08.16.2012 12:52 AM PDT]

I have a better idea. Let's just do it by PPD (it's just as arbitrary a characteristic as titles). >100 PPD: 20 minutes between posts (this would obviously kill off this demographic entirely since, to post 100 times in a day, the longest amount of time you could take between posts is 14 minutes and 24 seconds) 100-50 PPD: 15 minutes between posts 50-15 PPD: 10 minutes between posts <15 PPD: 5 minutes between posts We could have world peace.

The only time I've ever hit the spam filter in the mains (that I can remember) was when the internal server clocks got out of wack a few days back. So I don't see a need for any changes.

No. it would make more sense if it was based on your prefix considering the base titles are seemingly random.

It's already 30 seconds between each post for everybody. I think most people can wait a minute.
