It's quite obvious many people are posting with very little actual knowledge of Samus. However, even with that said, I don't see one having a decisive edge over the other. Interestingly, they both have somewhat similar pasts. Samus was orphaned and adopted by Chozo who immediately biologically enhanced and trained her to be a warrior from age three. John was abducted by the UNSC who biologically enhanced and trained him to be a warrior from age six. They have both performed insane, nearly impossible feats. They are both super strong, super agile, and super sensory, but not necessarily equal in all enhancements. Much of the uncertainty stems from Samus's vaguely described attributes. John has been intricately "fleshed out" in his cannon, but Samus hasn't received quite the same treatment, which leaves a lot unknown about her nature. We know enough about her suit to know that she'd be unstoppable with it--but without? I don't know. It seems very close to me. [Edited on 06.02.2012 6:40 PM PDT]
